Here are 2 important phrases that Suzanne Ouellette, a popular Vancouver teacher, uses in her exercise class.
It becomes ingrained inside your body.
体の中に根付きます。(染み込んでいきます)
Take the time to articulate.
時間をかけてアーティキュレーションしなさい。

1/ Pulling that belly button into the spine. Relaxed head. Good…and rolling up. Creating that letter “C” with our spine.
Sternum lifting up. High lift...to push...and relax head and down you go again.
2/ Lifting up. Both arms. Feel it. Feel the hips facing forward. No rib cage, yes? Feel the shoulders going down the back.
Lift up, and over you go forward...and find that length.
3/ Continue doing things that will drop your pelvis down and create more space in your lower pelvis, Ok?
…because you really want to feel your lower back nice and relaxed. You don’t want to have problems with your lower back.
4/ Whenever you’re doing any stretching, do not release your abdominals.
Even when you’re lying flat on the floor, your abdominals are being lifted up. You are working your body that way, OK? So it becomes ingrained inside your body.
5/ Ok so, we’ll do angry cat to begin with. So, lifting up. Trying to tuck your tail all the way down. Good. And get yourself to touch your forehead to your pelvic bone.
OK? Nice, Anne. Nice big lift…and release down. Head up, tail up, drop your bellies down towards the floor. Good, Bria. Right! And then taking the time to articulate. Drop down. Lifting up. Yes, find that curve.
6/ Holding it there. Lengthening our legs. Making sure we’re level. OK? Making sure your arms are placed where they need to be. Making sure the head is well supported.
